Health & Media Literacy for Public Health Advancement

This course takes a critical health literacy approach in examining communication in public health, healthcare and media, and developing clear communication for complex health topics and concepts. Students will gain insight into the emerging field of health literacy study and practice, analyze health literacy interventions, and review case examples that will challenge and develop in them critical health literacy skills for social and political change.
